Hello Church Family,
Question, who is more tired of the cold than me? I don’t think so; I think I am so very tired of feeling like I can’t get anything done because all I want to do is cuddle up on the couch under a blanket.
But as my dad would have said, this too shall pass. He was a wise man because as he says it always does and come July I will be whining about the heat.
I am excited to share with you that I feel like we had a positive response for the Abolish Hunger, End Suffering project. I heard from several of you that you want to support our desire and help where needed. I thank all of you that saw the video and came to the service on Sunday to lend that support.
Now we need to get started and not let this fall through the cracks. I am looking for a few people to form an exploratory committee to meet with me and talk about what our next steps should be. IF you would be willing to meet with me please let me know soon, before I start asking you. So if you want to help make the plans for the summer meals or work on planning the garden, let me know.
March is going to be the prep time for so many activities, Palm Sunday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday as well as WNL activities. So watch your calendars for what is coming up and plan on being here to share the joy of what the spring season provides.
So let’s look forward to warm weather, sunshine and happy days!
